The last time I rode the bike back from work, it was stalling on me left and right; something’s funny with the wire going to the kick stand and it’s shorting out. But that didn’t happen on the way in, so I’m winning at this point!

During the storms recently my bike had been blown over, and now my front brake lever is “curly” since it landed on that side. Plus my rear right blinker bulb died, and I haven’t been able to find a new bulb for it. Oh well. Oh, and while I got new tags for my plate, I haven’t gotten around to actually putting the new plate sticker on there. Oh well! I just hope I don’t get pulled over.

Regardless, with the kind of parking situation we have at work, it’s nice to be able to stick my bike in the non-parking-spot. It’s just the little triangle next to the curb that works perfectly for the Nighthawk.

It’s the first time I’ve smiled on the way into work for a long time, though.

has to rain for some reason

A lot of this has been going on too. I needed to make repairs and all it wanted to do was rain.

I’ve been taking pictures and taking notes and just not updating here. I’ll be backdating things where they should be, though. Not much happened over the winter, I was dealing with a bunch of stuff. I’m excited to get my bike back into top shape, though. My to-do list is long!

  • Fork oil and seals (they’re really leaky now)
  • Rear bearings
  • Chain guard (if I feel like it)
  • Replace the front tire
  • Exhaust leak?
