The Nighthawk’s Engine Stalls at Expressway Speeds; Now it Won’t Start

I usually like to write after I’ve fixed something. In this instance, however, I’m genuinely stumped. On the 5th, I rode my motorcycle from Flint, Michigan down here to Chicagoland. Google Maps generally puts the drive at around four to five hours. It took me ten, though, because I couldn’t go faster than 55mph, due…

Learn to Ride a Motorcycle from the Best!

It’s time to learn how to ride! And why not? Motorcycling is a fun activity, and can be relatively inexpensive compared to many other hobbies and activities, especially if you learn to repair a bike yourself. As I eventually plan on being a Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoach, I’m a bit biased in recommending their training,…

Cutting Wheel Safety – Do’s and Don’t’s when Working on a Motorcycle

Repairing a motorcycle can get extremely tedious when the part that was supposed to come off doesn’t. I learned that the hard (and long) way when I removed the flywheel from my Honda Rebel using a cutting wheel. So with my use and abuse of the cutting wheel, I feel as though I can share…

Hi, I'm Charlie

Hi, I'm Charlie
My bike is broken. I keep trying to fix it, but more things break. Laugh with me about it.

I'm doing everything I can to keep riding as much as possible. Beyond that, I play upright bass in a band called The River Valley Rangers.

For work I help manage a team of web content publishers at Launch Digital Marketing so I'm on the internet a lot. :)
