How to use the Harbor Freight Motorcycle Swingarm Rear Stand

I decided to make a quick video showing how to use the Harbor Freight rear wheel stand on the motorcycle. How to lift your motorcycle with one person using the motorcycle swingarm rear wheel stand from Harbor Freight. Getting the stand’s feet in position is one of the harder parts, and maintaining balance on the…

The Gear Helps Motorcycle Commuting In Chicago: Rain or Shine

I’ve never been afraid of a motorcycle ride. Well, I was a little when I went to Duluth and it was seriously windy, and it was a little stressful during this huge storm last year in Chicagoland. But, I persevere! Motorcycle commuting is my favorite way to keep from hating the drive from Chicago to…

Winter Motorcycle Gear that’s Cheap and Works

I’ve been doing winter motorcycle riding for a few winters now, and while my tolerance for the extremes will wax and wane with my mood and the amount of snow on the ground, I think I have a pretty good handle on things. Having good winter motorcycle gear is of utmost importance. Here’s a brief…

Hi, I'm Charlie

Hi, I'm Charlie
My bike is broken. I keep trying to fix it, but more things break. Laugh with me about it.

I'm doing everything I can to keep riding as much as possible. Beyond that, I play upright bass in a band called The River Valley Rangers.

For work I help manage a team of web content publishers at Launch Digital Marketing so I'm on the internet a lot. :)
